Year on year Sonder have worked with Canon to design and deliver their biggest UK event, The Photography Show. TPS is a one stop trade fair for all things photography with over 30,000 visitors during the course of the event.
The space needs to facilitate over 150 products, have innovative shoot subjects and interactive zones, with a host of other areas required, all within 350 square meters, whilst projecting the Canon brand across the space and positioning them as the market leading giant.
We are lucky, we’ve been working with Canon for over 15 years, across a variety of different projects, working closely with the marketing team to enable the brand to work within physical space, as well as within print, digital and social, guiding their customers to become inspired and explore the world through photography and image. Canon's largest UK exhibition is the ideal environment to bring together these disciplines.
Flagship Store Refurbishment
To renew the iconic Grade II listed Floris store founded in 1730 – Jermyn street, London. The British Family Perfumers Floris were committed to undertake the first renovation of the shop in over 100 years.
Sonder, already working with Floris to deliver its three dimensional branding were asked to deploy their knowledge of the brand and its history to embrace the future aspirations of the Family and sympathetically reimagine the historic store.
This was a once in a lifetime project, an untouched historic venue known and loved worldwide. Some clientele you may have heard of range from Ian Fleming, Marilyn Monroe and our very own Queen. As Floris hold not one, but two Royal Warrants every detail had to be considered in a way never conserved before.
With the building being grade II listed Sonder Design worked closely with the Planning Department and English Heritage, we selected a team of skilled craftsmen and worked with bespoke suppliers of the most luxurious and quality materials. From our initial brief developed with the client, we were able to build the foundations and deliver what you see here today – a true piece of history.
National Sales Showroom
With the expanding range of products in the Canon portfolio, the requirement was to update their already successful national showroom in central London. Canon approached Sonder Design to develop the space in order to stay ahead of their competitors.
