Speedo

Tour De France

Video Production • Motion Graphics • Marketing Collateral

As a major sponsor of Eurosport's Tour de France coverage, Speedo wanted to promote their initiative to make 1km of every training week in the pool. We built a content campaign that used a high profile cyclist to give the idea credibility, and short form video across the Eurosport platform to drive people directly to Speedo's product pages.

Speedo needed their sponsorship to do more than brand awareness.

The 1km initiative required a credible advocate, content that worked across multiple touchpoints, and a clear route from awareness to purchase. The Eurosport audience were engaged sports fans, not necessarily swimmers. The content had to meet them where they were.

We produced a long form interview with Tour de France cyclist, Ritchie Porte, capturing him on the bike and alongside product focused cutaways that reinforced the Speedo tie-up.

That interview became the anchor of the campaign, giving the initiative legitimacy. From the footage we created a series of short form content for the Eurosport platform, each referencing the initiative but designed to take viewers directly to Speedo's product pages. The hero video gave people a reason to trust the idea. The short form content gave Speedo the means to connect.

A campaign that made Speedo's Tour de France sponsorship work commercially, not just as brand presence.

Short form content ran across Eurosport's digital coverage, with the anchor interview providing the credibility behind every click to product.
